ily for you, can be found for amazingly cheap prices over the Internet. Shopping online can save you a whole lot of hassle and money, especially since every dollar you save can be put into something else your child may need more, such as a college fund.
Crib bedding encapsulates the design of the entire room, tying it together as an aesthetic representation of your child's personality. If you're blessed with a daughter who's quickly embodying those feminine qualities, then maybe some nice pink crib bedding sets, or pink and brown crib bedding coupled with soft tones of lavender or periwinkle for the walls would be a good choice. This mix of colors can have a soothing effect on bad temperament in your baby, and might even calm you down as well.
Shopping online is cheap and easy, because online vendors actively search to provide the best bargains to their customers and aren't limited by the markups imposed upon retail stores. An on-site store may not have the pink baby bedding you need, but trying to find pink baby bedding online yields hundreds, if not thousands of results, all tailored to your input, and shipped to your door for bargain prices. Some vendors even offer free shipping if you buy a certain amount!
Pamper your baby without breaking the bank; it's a win-win situation. In a child's earliest months, a lot of her time will be spent in the crib, learning her first introduction to life, snuggled in the bedding you've given to her. Why not provide the best for your baby, especially when you can find awesome bargains online? Your child may not be able to appreciate it yet, but I'm sure that you will, because a lot of the money you save on buying this bedding can go towards the all-important baby product…the diaper.
Your baby's room is an important place – she will spend a lot of time in there, and a bond of affection for the room is formed. The color patterns you choose for your child can influence and shape a child's behavior and influence the way they grow and mature! Encourage your child and use interior design to your advantage; it can have a remarkable effect on your baby's outlook and attitude.

Safe Baby Crib Bedding and Accessories

When it comes to decorating your baby's nursery there certainly are a lot of possibilities. You can choose from a variety of themes to suit your tastes or aspirations you have for your child. Or, you can keep things simple and low-key. However, when it comes to your baby's crib it's always best to keep things as simple and safe as possible.

In order to take every precaution necessary against the threat of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) the only things that should be in the crib besides your baby is a firm mattress with a tight fitting pad and sheet. You can add a decorative crib skirt or dust ruffle but avoid using puffy or padded bumper guards. If you need to use bumper pads only use those that are thin, firm, securely tied, and meshy. Bumpers should fit around the entire perimeter of the crib and tie or snap in at least six different locations. Make sure that bumper ties are no longer than 7 inches long.

When it comes to crib mattresses, federal regulations recommended measurements of 27 1/4 inches by 51 5/8 inches. The mattress should also not be more than six inches thick. If the crib mattress is too soft there is a danger that it will conform to your baby's shape and cause suffocation or SIDS. Also, if the mattress is too small, gaps in the crib could become danger zones for your baby. Both foam and innerspring mattresses are good choices as long as they meet the above criteria. Remember, don't add anything soft or plushy to your baby's crib including pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, or positioning devices. These all increase the risk of suffocation and SIDS.

Fitted sheets come in all types of fabrics, colors and styles to suit your tastes. You can consider coordinating the sheets with your window treatments or paint color. Prices for crib sheets vary depending on where you buy them. One company even specializes in designing crib sheets that have a removable top panel that zips onto the base of the sheet with a single, safety covered zipper. This makes changing the sheets much easier. All you have to do is clean the top sheet panel and leave the rest for later if your baby has a leaky diaper in the middle of the night.
